Metro's Firearm Safety and Youth Safety Programs

Our next Fire Arm Safety class is starting on March 13th

Friday Classes are from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.  Saturday classes are from 8:00 A.M. - Noon
Participants in the class must attend all 4 days in order to receive their certificate

The DNR firearms safety class costs $15.00 and gets the student certified for the purposes of hunting both in Minnesota and many other states.

Prerequisites for taking this class include providing identification in the form of a birth certificate or drivers license, a self addressed stamped envelope, and meeting the minimum age requirement of 11 years prior to the first day of class.

Participation in the optional Youth Safety Program costs an additional $20.00.  This will provide the student with additional shooting time, classroom time and a one year membership to encourage students to develop their safe gun handling and shooting skills.  The Youth Safety Program also includes all of the targets, ammo, and gun rental fees.
